51 24 300 Removing and installing/replacing gas pressure spring for trunk lid, left or right (Z3 Coupe, M Coupe)

Open trunk lid.

Slide stop spring (1) to end of gas pressure spring (2) and lever out. Repeat the procedure at the other end of the gas pressure spring (2) and remove.
