51 16 340 Removing and installing/replacing lock for glovebox, right (Z3 Roadster, M Roadster, Z3 Coupe, M Coupe): Notes

Only US version:

Unfasten screws (1) and remove upper (2) and lower sections of lock.

Only replacement (US version):

Insert vehicle key in lock cylinder (2).

Break open locks (1) if necessary and pull out lock cylinder (2) with vehicle key.

CAUTION: Do not pull on vehicle key.
Do not pull vehicle key out of removed lock cylinder (retainers and springs would drop out of lock cylinder).
