TREATMENT OF REAR WINDOW (OUTSIDE OF WINDOW)

Glue Treatment
Genuine BMW repair kit: Part Number 81 22 9 407 497
Adhesive cartridge: Part Number 81 22 9 407 526
  1. Clean with spirit (available in pharmacies).
  2. Air drying time at least 1 minute (at least 15 minutes when applying to the residual bead)
  3. Apply a thin coat of genuine BMW glass primer 205/5
  4. Air drying time at least 10 minutes
Sika Tack - Ultrafast or Sikaflex 255 FC
  1. Clean with spirit (available in pharmacies).
  2. Air drying time at least 1 minute (at least 15 minutes when applying to the residual bead)
  3. Apply a thin coat of Sika bonding agent 205/5
  4. Air drying time at least 10 minutes
