21 52 510 Removing And Installing/Replacing Clutch Slave Cylinder

NOTE: After completing work bleed clutch hydraulic system, refer to 21 00 006 BLEEDING CLUTCH HYDRAULIC SYSTEM .

Remove underbody protection from transmission.

Seal supply hose to clutch master cylinder with special tool 13 3 010.

Remove pressure line from clutch slave cylinder.

Installation: 

Tightening torque, refer to 21 52 CLUTCH OPERATION (HYDRAULIC) .

Unscrew nuts.

NOTE: Relieve tension on clutch slave cylinder slowly; otherwise air will be drawn in through sealing sleeve.

Installation: 

Tightening torque, refer to 21 52 CLUTCH OPERATION (HYDRAULIC) .

Installation: 

Clean pressure pin and support face on release lever. Lightly grease pressure pin.
