63 21 180 Removing and installing/replacing left or right rear light (in side panel)

Remove socket housing for rear light.

Saloon/Sedan, Coupe And Convertible:

Detach luggage compartment wheel arch liner in rear area.

Release nuts and remove rear light towards outside.

Coupe And Convertible Only:

Replacement:

Convert side trim on rear light (inside).

Touring:

Unscrew nut (1).

Release nuts (2) slightly and remove rear light (3) towards outside.

All:

Installation:

Make sure rear light seal is correctly seated, replace if necessary.

Make sure there is a uniform gap all round between outer rear light and side panel.
