64 11 839 Replacing actuator drive of footwell flap

Remove and install housing for glovebox and cover on equipment carrier at bottom, refer to 51 45 030 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM .

Remove and install AIRBAG module on passenger side, refer to PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE .

Unhook adjusting lever (1).

Disconnect plug connection (1). Unlock actuator drive (2) and feed out towards rear.

Installation:

If necessary, align shaft for footwell flap and drive (see illustration).
