61 71 062 Replacing fluid reservoir for windshield washer system (M3 / lightweight bumper)

Drain fluid reservoir for windshield washer system.

Remove front bumper trim. Refer to 51 11 156 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT BUMPER TRIM (M3 / LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN) .

Remove level switch for windshield washer system. Refer to 61 31 492 REPLACING LEVEL SWITCH FOR WINDSHIELD WASHER SYSTEM (M3, M3 CSL) .

Detach windshield washer pump from fluid reservoir for windshield washer system and place to one side. Refer to 61 71 100 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING WINDSHIELD WASHER PUMP(M3) .

If necessary, detach washer pump of headlight cleaning system from fluid reservoir for windshield washer system and place to one side. Refer to 61 67 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING WASHER PUMP FOR HEADLIGHT CLEANING SYSTEM (M3) .

Detach hose (1) and filler duct (2) from fluid reservoir for windshield washer system (4).

If necessary, unhook wire harness from bracket on fluid reservoir for windshield washer system (4).

Release screws (3) and remove fluid reservoir for windshield washer system (4) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Make sure hoses are laid without kinks.
