51 43 063 Removing And Installing/Replacing Upper Section Of Rear Left Or Right Armrest (Coupe)

NOTE: Place a clean cleaning cloth between special tool 00 9 318 and armrest (risk of damage).

Lever out upper section (1) at front with special tool 00 9 318 (universal wedge) towards top.

Unclip rest of upper section (1) towards top.

Pull upper section (1) towards front/top off armrest (2).

Installation: 

  1. Plastic pins (1) and guide (2) on upper section (3) must not be damaged.

Installation: 

  1. During removal, clips (1) can be pulled out with the upper section.
  2. If necessary, replace faulty clips (1) on armrest (2).
  3. Before the upper section is installed, all clips (1) must be in the armrest supports (2).
