51 41 070 Removing And Installing/Replacing Upper Section On Left Or Right Armrest (Coupe)

NOTE: Place a clean cleaning cloth between special tool 00 9 318 (risk of damage).

Lever out upper section (1) at front with special tool 00 9 318 (universal wedge) towards top.

Unclip rest of upper section (1) towards top.

Pull upper section (1) towards front/top off armrest (2).

Installation:

Plastic pins (1) and guide (2) on upper section (3) must not be damaged.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1) on armrest (2).

Installation:

If it is difficult to fit upper section:
If necessary, introduce a small guide taper (2) at two rear holes (1).
