51 15 330 Removing And Installing/Replacing Body Molding On Left Or Right Front Door (Coupe)

NOTE: To prevent ends of molding from bending: Using two special tools 00 9 317 (trim panel wedge), unclip clips (2) of molding (1).

If necessary, lever out clips in front door.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty rubber grommets (1) and clips (2).
Prior to installation, coat rubber grommets (1) with soapy solution (washing-up liquid).
Snap clips with rubber grommet into molding (3) and align.

Clip molding (3) into door.
