Removing and installing/replacing left or right rear side window water drain (M4 Convertible)

Necessary preliminary work:

• Remove rear POWER WINDOW REGULATOR .
• Remove SIDE SILL TRIM PANEL .
• Remove TANK COVER 

Removal: 

Undo seal plug (1).

Loosen latch mechanisms and press through the water drain (2) towards the inside.

Unclip and remove water drain (1) from side panel.

Installation:

Insert water drain (1) and clip into side panel.

Insert water drain (1) in floor panel and make sure the latch mechanism engages correctly.

Installation note: 

The seal plug is not installed again.

Required follow-up work:

• Install rear POWER WINDOW REGULATOR .
• Install SIDE SILL TRIM PANEL .
• Install TANK COVER
