Removing and installing/replacing rubber window seal for front left or right side window (M4 Coupe, M4 Convertible)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear-view mirror on front door
- REMOVE WEATHER STRIP ON OUTSIDE OF FRONT DOOR .
- REMOVE WEATHER STRIP ON INSIDE OF FRONT DOOR .
IMPORTANT:
The instructions on INSTALLATION OF WINDOW GUIDES serve as the basis for this repair instructions and must be observed without fail.
Release rubber window seal (1) at lugs (2).
Pull out rubber window seal (1) from window guide rail.
Installation note:
Moisten rubber guide (1) prior to fitting with APPROVED LUBRICANT .
Insert rubber window seal (1) at front/bottom correctly into window guide rail.
Installation note:
Rubber guide (1) must not be damaged in corners (2).
