Removing and installing/replacing tailgate lock (M4 Coupe)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove TRIM FOR REAR LID .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 24 1AZ .

Feed out tailgate lock (2) and unlock and disconnect associated plug connection.

Perform a function check of tailgate lock with the tailgate open.
