Replacing Center Front Panel (M4 Coupe, M4 Convertible)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
• Only remove the F33, F23: front strut
• Only remove F80, F82: CARBON STRUT .

Most of operation is described on the left side. Right side identical.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 11 BUMPER, FRONT .

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 51 11 BUMPER, FRONT .

Release screws (1) and remove headlight holder.

Tightening torque 51 23 HOOD LATCH, LOCKS .

Release screws (2) and place the bonnet lock directly under the front panel.

Tightening torque 51 23 HOOD LATCH, LOCKS .

Loosen screws (3).

Tightening torque 51 11 BUMPER, FRONT .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 41 33 STEERING COLUMN SHROUD .

Remove cover (2).

Press locks (1) together and pull the supporting bushing (2) out toward the top.

Remove center front panel (3).

Remount holder (1) for radiator.

Remove rubber mount (1).

Installation note: 

The fixing possibility for the stop pad (2) is omitted on the replacement part.

The stop pad (2) is omitted.

Slide lock (1) upwards in direction of arrow.

Turn the holder (2) for the rubber mount clockwise and take off.

Remount holder and rubber mount.
