Stripping Operations - Replacing Right Luggage Compartment Floor (Rear Right Side Wall And Tail Panel Removed) (M4 Coupe)
NOTE:
Owing to the different engine variants and equipment specifications, not all the components are taken into consideration.
Remove cover (1) and release nut (2) below it.
Tightening torque 61 21 BATTERY WITH HOLDER .
Turn the lock (2) counterclockwise and remove.
Push the positive battery cable connector (1) through the luggage compartment floor to the outside.
Release nuts (1) and remove holder (2).
Release plug connection (1) on power distribution box.
Release positive wire (2) at attachment point (3), and push grommet (4) with positive wire through towards the outside.
Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
RELEASE NUT (2) AND REMOVE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE DISTRIBUTOR (3) .
Tightening torque 61 21 BATTERY WITH HOLDER .
Release wiring harness (4) from retaining pin.
Partially release the insulating mat (5) and set aside.
