Removing and installing or replacing flat motor for front left or right power window regulator (M4 Coupe)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove SOUND INSULATION IN FRONT DOOR .

Release nuts (1) and screw (2).

Tightening torque 51 33 2AZ .

Feed out flat motor (3).

Unlock associated plug connection and disconnect.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 33 1AZ .

Remove flat motor (2).

Replacement: 

Remount support (3).

Installation note: 

Make sure drive shaft (2) is correctly seated in mounting (1) at power window regulator (3)!

Ensure that the flat motor (2) is assembled without tension.

After installation: 

An initialization must be carried out in order to activate anti-trap mechanism.

Read and comply with NOTES ON INITIALIZATION OF POWER WINDOW REGULATOR .
