Removing and installing/replacing rear panel on left rear seat backrest

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Lift out cover (1) from backrest with special tool 64 1 020.

NOTE: Catches on trim (1) must not be damaged. Replace faulty cover (1).

NOTE: Shown with backrest removed for purposes of clarity.

Lever welt surrounding from backrest frame using special tool 64 1 020.

Remove rear panel from backrest frame.

Installation note:

Insert the rear panel in the backrest frame first.

Press the welt from the backrest cover into the frame.
