Removing and installing/replacing left socket housing for rear light (on side wall) (M4 Coupe)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove REAR LIGHT .

Release catches (1).

Remove socket housing (2) from rear light (3).

Installation note: 

Catches (1) must not be damaged or missing.

Make sure socket housing (2) is correctly seated on rear light (3).

Installation note: 

Gasket (3) on socket housing (4) must not be missing or damaged.

Replacement: 

Carefully press bulb for turn indicator (1) and bulb for brake light (2) into socket housing (4), turn in direction of arrow and remove from socket housing (4).
