Removing and installing/replacing seal for tailgate (M4 Convertible)

Attention!

To prevent water ingress, removed sealing may not be reused.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

• Remove OUTER LEFT AND RIGHT WEATHERSTRIP .
• Remove left and right luggage compartment wheel arch panels. Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM  and REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL .

The right side is removed in the same way as the left side.

Release screw (1).

Feed out front seal (2) and remove by pulling backwards.

Reposition convertible top module if necessary to completely remove seal (2).
