Removing and installing/replacing right luggage compartment wheel arch panel (M4 Coupe)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove COVER FROM TAIL PANEL .
• Remove TRIM FOR TAILGATE HINGE  on right
• Reposition right rear seat backrest

Lever out cover (1) and release screw underneath.

Tightening torque 51 47 1AZ .

Remove lashing eye (2).

Remove flap (1).

Pull out and detach fuel tank release (1).

Release clamps (2).

Feed out wheel arch panel (3) In direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Wheel arch panel must be seated correctly under tailgate rubber seal (4).

Replacement (depending on version): 

Unclip tensioning strap (1).

Detach luggage compartment net (2) at holder (3).

Release lock washer (4) and feed out luggage compartment net (2).

Unscrew holder (3).

If necessary, apertures for tensioning strap (1) and luggage compartment net (2) must be cut out at mark on rear side.
