Removing and installing/replacing front side panel trim on left or right (M4 Convertible)
Special tools required:
- 00 9 327
The trim is secured with double-sided adhesive tape and can not be reused after disassembly.
Observe NOTES for securing components with adhesive tape.
Tape off side panel above trim (1) with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
Release trim (1) from latch mechanisms (2) with special tool 00 9 327.
Release double-sided adhesive tape in area (A) and remove trim (1).
Installation note:
Replace faulty clips (3).
Clean bonding surface.
Installation note:
Pull off liner (1).
Place trim (2) on side panel, clip in at top and press down evenly on adhesive tape.
