Replace bumper panel, front (M4 Coupe, M4 Convertible)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remount MIDDLE FRONT RADIATOR GRILLE .
- REMOUNT ORNAMENTAL GRILLE FOR BUMPER PANEL (CENTER) .
- REMOUNT ORNAMENTAL GRILLE FOR BUMPER PANEL (SIDE) .
- Remount SUPPORT FOR NUMBER PLATE .
- Attach BMW BADGE .
- Remount HIGH-PRESSURE NOZZLES and hose pipe
- Remount ULTRASONIC SENSOR and wiring harness
Depending on version:
- Remount SIDE VIEW CAMERA .
Only M4 GTS:
- Rework the BUMPER PANEL .
- Install the FRONT SPLITTER .
Observe NOTES for securing components with adhesive tape.
Insert ultrasonic sensor (1) in holder (2).
Clean bonding surface of bumper panel.
Mount holder (2) according to its installation position. Note the label on the holder (2).
Align visible notch (3) with mark (4) and bond holder (2).
Fasten holder (3) on all sides in area (5) with ADHESIVE SET K6 on bumper panel.
