Replacing left lumbar support (Convertible)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Tilt BACKREST COVER with upholstery forwards.
NOTE:
Valve unit, hoses, pump and air cushion form a single unit and can only be replaced completely.
Feed fleece (1) towards rear bottom out of seat frame.
Installation note:
Feed in fleece (1) between second and third wires.
Disconnect cable straps (1 and 2).
Unlock and disconnect pump connector (3).
Installation note:
Attach cable strap (2) below first and second wires.
Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).
Feed out valve unit (2) in downward direction.
Installation note:
Secure valve unit (2) to second and third wires.
Detach fleece lugs in marked area.
Installation note:
Secure upper fleece lugs to fourth wire.
Secure lower fleece lugs to second wire.
Cut open cable strap (1).
Installation note:
Attach cable strap to fifth wire.
Remove lumbar support with pump and valve unit.
