31 11 040 Removing and installing/replacing stiffening plate

IMPORTANT: Observe SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS for raising the vehicle

Driving without stiffening plate is not permissible!

Removal:

Release screws (1).

Release screws (1).

Remove thrust panel (reinforcement plate) (2).

Installation:

Position stiffening plate on front axle.

Part: Replace screws (1).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque: 31 10 2AZ .
