TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When the engine is stopped after the completion of trip, it may be necessary to run the electric fan. In rare cases, operation of the electric fan can last up to 11 min. This protects the components. In this case, replacing the electric fan will not remedy the problem!

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the exhaust turbocharger .
A leak at the pressure pipe can damage the exhaust turbocharger .

- Replace the gaskets and pressure pipe if necessary.
- Release the screws (2) at the front left.
- Drill out the blind rivet (1) in the front left.
- Release the screws (2) at the front right.
- Drill out the blind rivet (1) at the front right.
- Unlock the locking pins (1).
- Guide out and remove the locking mechanisms (2).
- Guide out and remove the cross connection (3).
- Engage locks (1) in direction of arrow in the holder.
- Unlock and release the pressure pipe (1) at front right.
- Unlock and release the pressure pipe (1) at front left.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Pull out charge air cooler (2) towards the bottom and remove.
