Remove coolant expansion tank

Preliminary work

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

- Loosen sealing cap (1).
- Suction the coolant with a standard pump
.
- Unlock and release coolant line (1).
- Catch and dispose of leakage coolant.
- Unlock the locks (2).
- Guide out the clutch with Bowden cable (3) and place to the side.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Carefully guide out coolant expansion tank (2) and place to one side.
- Use commercially available pinch-off tools to pinch off the coolant hoses.
- Secure clamping pliers (1) on the coolant line (2).
- Unlock and loosen coolant line (2).
- Catch and dispose of leakage coolant.
- Thread out coolant expansion tank (3) and remove.
