Remove coolant expansion tank

Preliminary work

WARNING: Hot surfaces .
Risk of burning!

Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

Loosen sealing cap (1).
Draw off the coolant with a standard pump .

Unlock and loosen coolant line (1).
Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
Unlock the locks (2).
Feed out clutch with Bowden cable (3) and set aside.

Loosen screw (1).

Carefully guide out coolant expansion tank (2) and place to one side.

Use commercially available pinch-off tools to pinch off the coolant hoses.

Fasten clamping pliers (1) to coolant line (2).
Unlock and loosen coolant line (2).
Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
Thread out coolant expansion tank (3) and remove.
