NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Loosen nuts (1) and (2) until the bonnet can be pushed.
- Move the bonnet in longitudinal and sidewise direction until the bonnet reaches the predefined gap dimension.
- Tighten nuts (1) and (2).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Bonnet Nut M8 Tightening torque 19 Nm Check
- Check gap dimensions.
Result
» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.
Measure
- Adjust bonnet.
- Adjusting engine compartment lid catch

- Check gap dimensions between the bonnet and the headlights.
Check gap dimensions between the bonnet and the front ornamental grill.
Result

Measure
- Adjust bonnet catch.
- Adjusting the stop pads of the bonnet
NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side. - Screw in stop pads (1) fully until the pin (2) can be pulled out.
Pull out the pin (2) by approximately 5 mm.
- Slowly close bonnet. Pin (2) will be pressed into stop pad (1) while doing so.
- Raise bonnet.
- Unscrew stop pad (1) until the stop pad is flush with the upper edge of pin (2).
