Additional work on all-wheel drive vehicles after driving with faulty (non-engaging) drive (X2 xDrive 28i 2018-2023, X2 M35i 2019-2022)

IMPORTANT: If the vehicle has been shifted under engine power with a non-engaging drive system (e.g. faulty front prop shaft, or one output shaft is no longer engaging with the drive flange, rear axle differential faulty/no power transmission), it is mandatory to calibrate the transfer box after having repaired the prop shaft/output shaft(s).

Carry out calibration after having completed the repair using the diagnostic system and information system, in control unit function -

Functional check - Transfer box.
