Installing the rear silencer

CAUTION: Heavy component .
Heavy components can lead to injury or damage .

Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.

CAUTION: Component with heavy weight .
Injury hazard!

Note component's center of gravity.
Support component using a jack.
Secure component against falling off the jack.

Side the rear silencer (2) in with the assistance of a second person and install.
Replace nuts (1).
Parts: Nuts
Tighten nuts (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Exhaust system to body
M8 Replace nuts.	tightening torque	19 Nm

Connect the new rear silencer (1) using the gripper clamp (2) with the front silencer (3).
Center and tighten clamp (2).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Clamp with partial replacement of exhaust system
Clamp	tightening torque	45 Nm

Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
