Install the spindle drive of the right tailgate

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Install the spindle drive of the tailgate

CAUTION: Shutting hood or trunk lid .
Injury hazard!

Support hood/trunk lid in fully open position with the aid of a suitable device.

Position the spindle drive (2) at the top and bottom of the associated ball head and lock with the locks (1).

Connect and lock both connectors (2).
Install the grommet (1) in the body panel.
The arrow on the grommet (1) must point up.
