Installing protective strip on the rear door

- Lever out the stuck clips (2) with the special tool 2 298 505 from the door outer skin and mount it on the protective strip (1).
- Check clips (2) and the holders for damage.
Damaged clips (2) and clips (2) without sealing ring must be replaced.
The protective strip (1) must be replaced if the holders or the centering pin are damaged.
- Correctly position the protective strip (1) and clip in on the clips (2) starting at the front on the centering pin to the rear.
