Remove left and right wiper arm

Damage to the wiper console .
If the wiper arm is removed without a special tool, the wiper console can break .

If the wiper arm is removed without a special tool, the wiper console can break .
- Only remove the wiper arm with the described special tool.
- Do not lever off the wiper arm, as otherwise the wiper console can break at the predetermined breaking point for active pedestrian protection.
- Pull off the protective cap (1) and release the nut (2) below it.
- Pull off windscreen wiper arm (1) with special tool 0 495 220 (61 6 210) .
