Attach the engine to the manual transmission

- Check the fitting sleeves (1)
for correct seating and damage and replace if necessary.
- Position the engine (1) with a workshop crane and the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070) on the lifting table 2 184 136 .
- Guide out the workshop crane with the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070) from the engine (1) and move it
aside.
- Move the table top (B)
in the arrow direction to the table top (A)
and position the manual transmission (1)
on the engine.
- Tighten the screws (arrows).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Transmission to engine M8 Tightening torque 19 Nm M12 Tightening torque 66 Nm - Tighten down screws (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Transmission to engine M8 Tightening torque 19 Nm M12 Tightening torque 66 Nm - Loosen the screws (1) from the special tool 2 459 012 .
- Guide the special tool 2 459 012 out and remove.
