Adjust the steering column position

Difficult removal of the steering column in the lower and maximum extended position .
If removal of the steering column is part of these repair instructions, bring the steering column back into a centrally retracted position after removing the steering column shroud upper section.

- Adjust the steering column in arrow direction (1) to the maximum length.
- Move the steering column to the lowest steering column position in the arrow direction (2) .
