Installing the seal for the tailgate

Remove the residual sealant on the body.
Clean the fold with solvent cleaner R2.
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Cleaning agent R2 500 ml 83190417324
Replace the seal (1).
Parts: Seal

The seal (1) must be replaced, otherwise leak-tightness is not guaranteed.
Feed in the seal (1) from the sealing joint (2) starting behind the bumper panel and connect on the fold.
Ensure correct fit of seal (1) on all adjacent components.
