Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel

NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT STRAP FITTING .
- Carefully release the B-pillar trim panel (1) from the clips (2) and the clamps (3) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) and guide it out of the headlining in a downwards direction.
- Remove the B-pillar trim panel (1)
and, when doing so, guide out the seat belt.
