Remove front seat belt

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Clean all threaded belt connections with micro-encapsulated outer and internal threads.
Shavings or other debris must not remain in the components.
If a microencapsulated screw is reused, it must be coated with the following screw locking agent: Loctite 243, medium strength .
The screw connection must be completed within 10 minutes as hardening begins after this period.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary work

Refer to DISCONNECTING THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE OF THE SYSTEM BATTERY .

Refer to REMOVING REAR ENTRANCE COVER STRIP .
Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING UPPER B-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
Refer to REMOVING THE LOWER B-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT STRAP FITTING .

Loosen (1) screws and remove the slide bar.
Loosen screw (2) .
Put the seat belt guide loop including the seat belt strap to one side.

Unlock and disconnect connector (1).
Loosen screw (2) .
Remove the seat belt retractor (3) from the guide.
Remove safety belt.

Remove the seat belt retractor (3) from the guide (4).

Remove safety belt.
