34 33 071 Replacing vacuum hose for brake booster (2' Series coupe and convertible, 2017-2021)
Necessary preliminary work:
- Refer to READING AND COMPLYING WITH GENERAL INFORMATION .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT , left.
Attention!
Before beginning work, fully press the brake pedal several times to reduce the vacuum pressure in the brake servo. This makes it easier to pull off the vacuum hose.
Unlock quick-release fastener (1) and pull out vacuum line (2).
Unlock quick-release coupling (1) and detach vacuum line.
Disconnect vacuum hose (2) from vacuum line.
Release vacuum hose at clamp (3) and remove.
