Replacing The Side Panel

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Coat the side panel (1) before painting in this area (2) using sealant D1.

Unlock the lug (1) and remove the holder (2) .

Check

Check the holder (1) for damage.

Result

» Holder (1) damaged.

Measure
- Replace the holder (1) .
Position and clip in the holder (1) on the new side panel (2) .
The detent (3) must engage audibly.

Loosen clip (1) .
Release the detents (2) and remove the seal (3) .
Mount the seal in reverse sequence on the side panel.
