Partially removing the frame trim from the window frame of the rear door
Precondition
Side window is fully open.
- Insert the special tool 0 495 484 (00 9 324)
into the window cavity in front.
The labeling TOPPING is facing up.
- Insert the special tool 0 495 484 (00 9 324)
under the frame trim (1)
:
Place the long shank (2) below.
Align long shank (3) upwards.
- Position the special tool 0 490 535 (00 9 318) on the door trim panel.
- Slide a suitable tool through the opening of the special tool 0 495 484 (00 9 324)
and lever out the frame trim (1)
in area (A)

The frame trim may not be raised by more than 5 mm per lift-out operation.
