Wiring harness section for ignition control for cylinders 7 to 12
NOTE:

Malfunction or failure of the DME.
Grounding points that are not screwed on may lead to malfunction or failure of the DME.

- Screw all screw points of the cable ducts on again. Some of the screw points are also grounding points.
- Feed in and install wiring harness section (1)
for the ignition control of cylinders 7 to 12.
- Feed in the wiring harnesses (2) at the cylinder head cover.
- Position connector (3) on the high pressure pump.
- Tighten the screws (1) .

NOTE:

- Connect all connectors (1) to the injectors and lock audibly.
- Connect ground cable to the ground pin and tighten the nut (2) .

NOTE:
Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
- Check all connectors (1)
on the injectors again to ensure they are correctly fitted.
The connector must be noticeably engaged.
NOTE:

- Push connector (1) onto the ignition coil with the connector fastener (2) open.
- Carefully close the connector fastener (2)
in the direction of the arrow.
The connector fastener must snap into place in the correct position without great effort.
- Connect the connector (1) to the right-hand tank vent valve and lock.
- Connect the connector (2) to the right-hand high pressure pump and lock.
