Installing the VTG control unit (ATC 13-1)

Replace the O-rings (1).

Align the drive shaft (1) from the control unit to the drive flange (2) on the transmission.
Slightly rotate the VTG control unit during the installation until you can feel the drive shaft engage in the input flange.

Carefully install the VTG control unit for the longitudinal torque distribution (3).

Insert screws (2) and tighten.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

VTG control unit on transfer box
M8	Tightening torque	25 Nm

Follow-up work

Reconnect all battery GROUND LEADS .
Check/top up the transfer box OIL (active torque control 13-1).
Install transmission CROSS MEMBER .
Install the transmission side UNDERBODY PLANKING .
Install rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
ENCODE/PROGRAM control unit(s).
Activate the 48 v ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
