Remove the bellows or centrifugal disc on the transfer box (VTG) (ATC 13-1)

Preliminary work
- Disconnect all battery GROUND LEADS .
- Remove rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Remove the transmission side UNDERBODY PLANKING
- Remove the tunnel connecting SUPPORT .
- If installed: remove the right and left TORSION STRUT where required.
- Remove complete EXHAUST SYSTEM .
- Remove transmission CROSS-MEMBER .
- Remove the HEAT SHIELDS .
- Remove the RETAINING PLATES
- Partially loosen the PROP SHAFT
- Remove the TRANSFER BOX (ATC 13-1).
- Version with gaiter (up to 11/2016) Version A:
Loosen band clamps (1).
Remove the bellows (2).
The dust guard (3) is not removed!
- Version with centrifugal disc (up to 11/2016) Version B:
Release the hose clamp (1).
Remove the two-part centrifugal disc.
- Version with centrifugal disc (from 11/2016):
Use a slotted screwdriver to lever off the centrifugal disk (1) to the rear and remove.
- Remove protective cap (1) upwards using 2 slotted screwdrivers (2).
