Removing and installing rear left or right side trim panel (4' Series Coupe)

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 317 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Release SEAT BELT COVER .
• Remove ARMREST SIDE SECTION .
• Remove REAR SEAT .

Detach edge protector (1) in area of side trim (2).

Carefully release side trim panel (2) from clamps (3) and clips (4) with special tool 00 9 317  starting at the front.

Unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.

Remove side trim panel (2).

Installation note: 

If necessary, replace faulty clips (4) and clamps (3).

When replacing, swap over the following parts: 

• TWEETERS .
• SPEAKER .
• SEAT-BELT EXTENDER .
• POWER AMPLIFIER FOR SEAT-BELT EXTENDER .
