0 General repair instructions and troubleshooting on the hardtop (4' Series Convertible)
The hardtop is a complex mechanical system. Proper function is achieved through precise adjustments of all components at the works .
Not all components can be adjusted at the works .
To avoid problems after repairs, only repairs and adjustments that are explicitly approved by BMW may be performed .
Thorough troubleshooting must always be completed prior to beginning with hardtop repairs.
