REP-TAT-P-1131-01 Remove timing chains

Remove the chain (1).

Remove the top timing chain (1) and the tensioning rail (2).

Press in the chain tensioner piston (1) using a screwdriver (2) up to the stop and secure using special tool 0 491 012 (11 4 120) .

Loosen the screws (1) and remove the chain tensioner (2).

Loosen the bearing journal (1) and remove the tensioning rail (2).
Loosen the bearing journal (3) and remove the guide rail (4).

Release the screw (1) and remove the camshaft sprocket (2).
Remove the bottom timing chain.
