REP-TAT-P-1123-02 Installing the vibration damper

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When removing/refitting or replacing the vibration damper, the radial shaft seal must also be replaced.

Clean oil and dirt off sealing surface (1).

Check

Check if the special tool 0 496 595 (11 6 130) is installed correctly.

Result

» Special tool 0 496 595 (11 6 130) not fitted.

Measure

Install special tool 0 496 595 (11 6 130) , remove vibration damper.

Install vibration damper (2) from the top and position correctly.
Tighten the screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Vibration damper to crankshaft
M10 x 65 Replace screws.	Joining torque	40 Nm
M10 x 65 Replace screws.	Angle of rotation	120°

Remove special tool 0 496 595 (11 6 130) .
