13 62 673 Replacing the component temperature sensor on the cylinder head (B48)

Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Removal: 

Release cable clip (1).

Thread out wiring harness (2) and place to side.

Unlock and disconnect plugs (1).

Loosen component temperature sensor (2).

Installation: 

Tighten component temperature sensor (2).

Tightening torque, refer to: 13 62 8AZ .

Attach and lock connector (1).

Connector (1) must engage audibly.

Feed in and install wiring harness (2).

Secure cable clip (1).
