00 00 614 Service - rear brakes

Service - rear brakes
- Replace the REAR BRAKE PADS , or BRAKE PADS (BREMBO)
  - Replace the brake pad wear sensor
  - Clean brake air ducts
  - Apply a thin coat of grease to wheel centering on light alloy wheels, refer to WHEELS AND TIRES - OPERATING FLUIDS
- Check the BRAKE DISCS
  - Check surfaces and thickness.
  - If necessary: Replace and charge separately
- Perform the FUNCTION CHECK OF PARKING BRAKE with roller dynamometer
  - If necessary: Charged for separately, removal of brake disc and parking brake repair
- Reset CBS DISPLAY according to factory specification
- For vehicles with electronic service booklet:
  Carry over maintenance works in electronic service booklet.

NOTE:

Replace brake discs if they drop below MINIMUM THICKNESS (refer to Technical Data) and in event of scoring, heat cracks or thickness difference.
Issue a separate invoice for replacing the brake discs.
